With LinuxTag 2005 happening in about one month there is still a lot to do. The following list should give you (and us as well) an overview about the tasks that need to be done in time before the show starts. If you want to take over one of them, please contact the public list debian-events-eu@lists.debian.org, where the coordination takes place.

Debian Day

  • Publish the Debian Day schedule on www.linuxtag.org and write some general blurb about this sub-conference
  • Build a feedback box where the feedback forms could be collected
  • Evaluate the feedback forms and make available the collected data digitally?

DVD / CD

  • Release sarge in time
  • Create a master image
  • Test this image
  • Find sponsors
  • Negotiate with the pressing company
  • Propose cover graphics
  • Select cover graphics
  • Start the errata

Booth

  • Decide what to demonstrate
  • Decide which architectures to present
  • Create posters with content if needed
  • Discuss eye catchers
  • If beamer: decide what to do with it
  • Booth staff shifts

General

  • Go through last year's criticism and apply fixes
  • Prepare a news posting for debian-news, maybe together with other events
