Two feeds have been added to the events calendar so that users can subscribe to the calendar without having to look at the calendar itself all the time.

When subscribed to the iCal file all upcoming events will show up in the personal calendar of the subscriber. This way it should be easy to notice when an event takes place and where. This service is brought to the users by the Tie::iCal Perl module with local improvements.

Users can also subscribe to an RSS feed which will present new items in their respective feed reader every time a new event is added to the calendar. Some feed aggregators provide means to send mail so that the user is informed via mail about every new event that is added. This services uses the XML::RSS Perl module.
